Orangeries

Orangeries were first introduced during the mid 1800's to house exotic fruits and plants, styled to match the very regal homes of the times. Incorporating large windows and French windows, the Orangery is built with considerably more brickwork and features a perimeter of flat roof and box guttering around a glazed area. A pelmet or parapet wall feature usually rides above the windows and doors.

At KLG we have designed a range to mimic the originals but with modern technology and energy efficient properties.

Glazed roofs with solar control and self cleaning glass are available in clear blue or aqua tints. Windows in many styles including leaded and neo Georgian, again with the utmost insulation properties. A variety of doors can be installed from the traditional French style, Patio sliding and the latest bi-folding sliding doors.

The visual appearance of stone pilasters can be achieved with our Powder coated rolled aluminium formers and the stone pelmet is created with a GRP feature moulding.

KLG can undertake everything from design, planning consents, building regulations where required through to all finishing aspects including electrics heating and floor finishes.

An orangery from KLG will bring your garden into your home and place you in your garden with comfort all year round. Each and every one of our Orangeries are truly bespoke and designed around your ideals and needs.
